Samaritan Center of Puget Sound, formerly Presbyterian Counseling Service, provides high quality, faith-integrative, affordable counseling for individuals, couples and families in 21 locations throughout the Puget Sound area. While our roots are in the Christian community, we are committed to providing care for people from all walks of life and all faith backgrounds.
We seek to make our services as affordable as possible, which means accepting most insurance plans and, for those with limited incomes, offering fee assistance as our resources allow. We believe that healing occurs on multiple levels--mind, body, spirit and soul--and are always willing to consider with our clients the spiritual as well as psychological aspects of healing and growth.

CounselingSamaritan's licensed therapists, psychologists and pastoral counselors help people with a wide range of troubling situations. They are trained and experienced in the treatment of anxiety and depression, and can help people resolve marital and family conflicts, deal with loss and grief, workplace conflicts, career and life transitions, and cope with issues of aging and long-term illness. Youth & Family ServicesA number of Samaritan's therapists specialize in working with children, youth and their families to resolve issues such as problems at school, eating disorders, drug and alcohol abuse, depression and anxiety. We also provide mental health and counseling services for homeless and at-risk youth in Seattle's University District and the Eastside.

Resource Center for MinistrySamaritan provides consultation and conflict resolution for church congregations who are experiencing troubled times. We also serve clergy and their families through counseling, consultation and career development. Samaritan staff are available to lead workshops, retreats and classes in a variety of areas of education, relationships and spiritual growth. |
Mediation ServicesSamaritan's trained and experienced mediators help people resolve the serious disputes that arise out of divorce and shared parenting, business and workplace, family or neighborhood conflicts.
