The Low Income Clinic
at Samaritan Center

Affordable Therapy for Those with Limited Finances

Through this program, Samaritan Center is able to provide counseling and mental health services to individuals, couples and families whose limited income keeps them from being able to access quality care. The therapists who meet with clients in the Clinic are post-masters clinicians who are in the process of meeting the requirements for Washington state licensure. As Clinic providers, they receive additional training and supervision by experienced Samaritan Center therapists. THe program is overseen by Dr.William Collins, Samaritan Center's Director of Training and Operations.

Our Mission Statement

To provide quality counseling to those who are limited by finances in their access to care while also nurturing therapists’ clinical growth.

Clinic therapists can help with concerns such as:

depression and anxiety
couple and family relationships
child and adolescent issues
parenting
physical, sexual or emotional
abuse
transitions and life changes
self-esteem, self-image and
identity
addictions and codependency
grief and loss
marriage and commitment

The Board of Samaritan Center of Puget Sound expects that those who provide service in the Low Income Clinic identify themselves as Christian.

Why a Low Income Clinic?

Many people with restricted incomes find that the mental health services they need are priced out of their reach.

Samaritan Center of Puget Sound has responded to this by creating the Clinic, a resource for those who would otherwise not be able to get the help they need. The Clinic emphasizes quality of care at the same time it provides affordable services.

The Clinic is for those whose financial resources restrict them from getting wanted or needed therapy. The Clinic’s fee scale is designed to meet the needs of low income clients, offering therapy services below usual agency minimum fees.
