Resource Center for Ministry:
Clergy Career Counseling
Over the last 25 years, Samaritan Center of Puget Sound has offered its services to pastors in the region when intentional choice or crisis have caused them to look at their calling to ministry in light of their spiritual gifts, talents and emotional resources. We all know that ministry is as highly stressful as it can be rewarding. The responsibility of guiding God's people in community can be overwhelming at times. And over time, emotionally draining. Where do pastors turn when their emotional and spiritual resources are on empty? Samaritan has been working with the Center for Ministry in Oakland, California to develop a pastoral model for Clergy Career and Personal Development. For more information, call Rev. Ron Kirstein, Samaritan staff therapist at (206) 527-2266 ext 354 |
